This Privacy Policy explains how Bluemoon Company Doo (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles personal data in connection with the Bluetecht mobile application (the “App”).
1. General Principle
Bluetecht is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) diagnostic tool that runs entirely on your device, with no server or cloud infrastructure. The App does not require a user account and never sends anything you scan, connect to, or record to our servers or any third party’s servers.
2. Data We Collect
Bluetecht does not collect, store, or process your personal data. Everything the App generates is kept locally, on your device only:
- Scan data: Advertising packets from nearby BLE devices (device name, signal strength/RSSI, manufacturer data, service UUIDs).
- Device History: Records of previously seen devices (first/last seen time, last known RSSI).
- Session/Log records: Events that occur during a scanning session you start (discovery, connection, characteristic read/write, errors).
- Connection Monitor data: Connection-status history for devices you choose to watch.
This data is stored in your device’s local storage (SwiftData) and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.
3. Bluetooth Permission
The App requests Bluetooth permission from iOS in order to scan for nearby BLE devices. This permission is used solely for device scanning and diagnostics. The App does not collect or use location data, and Bluetooth permission is never used to determine your location.
4. Exported Files
The CSV/JSON export feature is entirely under your control. These files are generated on your device and only leave it if you choose to share them (via iOS’s Share menu). Exported files may contain information such as device identifiers seen during a scan; how and with whom you share these files is entirely your responsibility.
5. Purchases (Payment Information)
The one-time purchase of Bluetecht Pro is processed through Apple’s App Store / StoreKit. We never see, collect, or store your credit card, banking details, or any other payment information — this is handled directly by Apple under Apple’s own Privacy Policy. The App only checks, on-device, whether the purchase has been completed (entitlement status).
6. Third-Party Sharing
Bluetecht does not use any advertising network, analytics SDK, or crash-reporting tool. Since no data is collected in the first place, none is shared with, sold to, or used by third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Data Security
App data is stored within iOS’s standard application sandbox and is accessible only to Bluetecht. Your device’s own security measures (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, encryption) protect this data.
8. Children’s Privacy
Bluetecht is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from users under 13 (or under 16 in the EU) — because the App does not collect personal data from any age group.
9. Your Rights
Because Bluetecht does not collect or store your personal data on our servers, requests to access, correct, or delete your data are generally unnecessary — all data on your device can be removed instantly and permanently from the App’s settings (clearing Sessions/Device History) or by uninstalling the App.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page along with an updated “Last updated” date.
